C-R Pizza Competition: Judging of Best Pizza

2024 PEOPLE’S CHOICE – BEST PIZZA IN CLARENCE-ROCKLAND!
Residents of CR purchase a total of 677 pizzas from participating restaurants during the competition’s voting period: 394 on Friday and 283 on Saturday.

During the Canada Day festivities, join us on the main stage where the three best pizzas chosen by the public (as per June 28th and 29th sales) will compete for the judges to crown the “Best Pizza in Clarence-Rockland”. The top three restaurants will submit two pizzas for the judging process: a pepperoni pizza and their signature pizza.
Three judges will evaluate the pizzas based on pre-established taste and appearance criteria. The judges are: 1) Kyle Cyr, Clarence-Rockland Councillor – Ward 1 ; 2) Amanda Clayton, Manager, Tim Horton’s (HWY17); and, 3) Pierre Labrecque, Clarence-Rockland resident and pizza lover.
The winner will be announced live after judging ends (around 4:00 p.m.). The restaurant awarded the “Best Pizza in Clarence-Rockland” will have bragging rights and will be presented with a certificate to display in their restaurant.

One lucky person will be randomly selected to participate as a judge for the Clarence-Rockland Pizza Competition!
