Chief Editor & Journalist

Benjamin Richard

Being a jack of all trades and our backbone at TVC22, Benjamin is our chief editor as well as one of our journalists here in the studio. Originally from Gatineau, the graduate in Television Production Technology at La Cité continued his studies by doing a year of general studies at Touro University in Berlin as well as a year in Sound Design at SRH Berlin. Benjamin admits that he is always ready to tackle any problem he faces.

Technician

Alec Pronovost

Alec Provonost is one of our videographers and editors here at TVC22. With that said, those two titles do not do justice to the amount of technical tasks Alec accomplishes at the studio. Approaching his second year in television production at La Cité college, he has the opportunity to practice what he learned in classes. Working within a team is a very familiar environment for Alec as he played competitive hockey with his community of Clarence’s House des Castors hockey club from 2015 up to 2023.

Video Editor

Maxime Richard

Maxime is a video editor here at TVC22. After graduating from the University of Ottawa with a degree in physics, he ventured into a new field, television production, by joining the studio team. After quickly learning video editing, he is now an important asset at TVC22. Passionate about many subjects such as science, mathematics, and history, he is constantly expanding his knowledge of television production, a subject that is gradually being added to that list.

Student - Journalist

Tristan Yelle

Originally from Casselman, Tristan is our investigative journalist here at TVC22. Passionate about history and nature, he can often be found outside with a camera in hand or doing some kind of physical activity such as rock climbing or volleyball. The 4th year Media Production and Design Carleton University student seeks to apply this knowledge of narrative storytelling in order to give back to the community where he grew up.

Student - Journalist

Dania Maisonneuve

Dania Maisonneuve is one of our journalists here at TVC22. Studying at the University of Ottawa in communications, Dania seeks to learn about everything around her. Her curiosity now leads her to discover the various stories in her community of Rockland as well as Prescott-Russell. According to her, it won’t take long before her quest for the answers to her questions takes her across the rest of Canada.

Student - Journalist

Jade Laviolette

Recent graduate of l’Escale high school in Rockland, Jade Laviolette is another of our journalists here at TVC22. She’s getting a head start for this fall by hosting Political Progress, as she’ll be a 1st-year Bachelor of Arts student specializing in History and Political Science at the University of Ottawa. Interviewing isn’t the only thing she has an aptitude for. In fact, Jade won the title of best speaker in the entrepreneurship category at a Telfer competition in 2024. What’s more, the arts are also one of her strengths, having taken 2 years of painting classes.

Student - Social Media & Trends

Èva Glaude

Èva Glaude started out as a TVC22 volunteer in the summer of 2024 and is now our youngest employee. She’s in charge of producing the social media videos that introduce you to our team in a more relaxed, comical light. Èva is a fan of outdoor sports like ultimate Frisbee.

Volunteer - Project Manager

Alethea Atkins

With a background in arts and sciences, Alethea became interested in how people think and how to create solutions that meet their needs. This led her to pursue a degree in Product Design at Stanford University. For the past several years, she has practiced human-centred design in the tech, professional services, health, and nonprofit industries. She is inspired to help the community work together to create a better future. Alethea enjoys dancing (Jamaican Dancehall and Afro styles), singing, trying new recipes, exercising, and studying acting.

In partnership with TVC22, he explores the inspiring journeys of soldiers, veterans, first responders, and public figures, sharing their stories, challenges, and aspirations. With his candid approach, he highlights the paths and realities of those who have chosen to serve the public, aiming to humanize them through this new audiovisual podcast series.

Volunteer - Registrar

She provides user reception, logistical coordination, drafts clear documents, and supports team projects with responsiveness and versatility. Committed to her adopted community, Prescott-Russell, Annick has been a member of the board of directors of the Prescott-Russell Francophone Immigrant Women’s Network (RÉFIF-PR) since 2024. There, she coordinates events contributing to the integration and well-being of immigrant women.

Volunteer - Writer

Benjamin Côté

Benjamin joined TVC22 as a volunteer in November 2025.  A few studies in the social sciences and a great deal of wandering laid the foundations of Benjamin’s education. Various roles in social services subsequently polished the jewel, and this essential work continues to this day in the Prescott-Russell region. Off the beaten path, he’s crafting a literary vessel, a blend of visual art and esotericism, without a captain. Oriented toward others in a spirit of service, a dreamer in solidarity or solitude, recognizing unity in chaos, Benjamin wanders and observes, captivated by the mystery of consciousness, gathering along the way, according to the cosmic whims, a few grains of information worth sharing.

Broadcast Programmer

Ben Cuff

Ben joined TVC22 in 2020 assisting with the bi-weekly bingo until it ended in 2022. He then helped the station by performing all necessary tasks.  He also initiated an equipment inventory project including its organization . Through his years with TVC22,  Ben gained experience as cameraman, video editor and participated in many other projects as required.  Most recently, he was responsible for scheduling TVC22 content on the MaTV/Videotron network for the viewers in various regions across Quebec and Ontario. Ben is now a volunteer at the station.

An actor, director, producer, and holder of a master’s degree in criminology, he creates content and initiatives that strengthen sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), gender equality, civic engagement, and youth empowerment. Volunteer - Host "GraTuiTude"

Nathalie Mathieu

Passionate about many subjects, Nathalie figured that since we only have one life to live, we might as well try as many jobs as possible. She’s been a receptionist, seamstress, baker, seed producer, public speaker, and library assistant. After studying science, she worked for environmental organizations and taught. She’s now a substitute teacher, occasional secretary, supervisor, offers communication and lactation support courses, and is working on her first comic book. So, creating a show on TVC22, why not?
