In partnership with the City of Clarence-Rockland, TVC22 invites you to the very first Clarence-Rockland Pizza Contest. We are asking residents to help us determine which pizza should earn bragging rights as the “Best Pizza in Clarence-Rockland.” For more information, expand on the sections below.

We received a number of emails from residents interested in becoming a judge for the competition. Therefore… we decided to open up one spot for you!!!!
One lucky person will be randomly selected to participate as a judge for the Clarence-Rockland Pizza Competition!

PARTICIPATING RESTAURANTS
Did you know that Clarence-Rockland has 16 restaurants that offer pizza? Here’s the list of participating restaurants.
HOW TO VOTE?
Voting period:
Friday June 28 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m and Saturday June 29 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
To vote for your favourite local pizza, simply place a pizza order at one of the participating restaurants during the voting period. Every pizza sold will count as one vote for that restaurant.
The three restaurants that sell the most pizzas during the voting period will compete on Sunday, June 30, 2024 to determine the pizza that will receive the “Best Pizza in Clarence-Rockland” award.
BONUS: Night Off Delivery will be available for pizza deliveries. They have graciously offered to hold a draw for a $100 gift card for all customers who participate in the contest. Good luck to all!
DECISION: BEST PIZZA IN CLARENCE-ROCKLAND
Sunday June 30 at 3 p.m.
During the Canada Day festivities at Parc Simon in Rockland, the three best pizzas chosen by the public will compete to crown the “Best Pizza in Clarence-Rockland”. The top three restaurants will submit two pizzas for the judging process: a pepperoni pizza and their signature pizza.
Four judges will evaluate the pizzas based on pre-established taste and appearance criteria. The four judges are: (coming soon)
The winner will be announced live on the main stage after judging ends (around 3:45 p.m.).
The restaurant awarded the “Best Pizza in Clarence-Rockland” will have bragging rights and will be presented with a certificate to display in their restaurant.
PIZZA ON SALE DURING THE FESTIVITIES
Sunday June 30 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
A donation of one dollar ($1) for every pizza sold during the voting period will be given to the Rockland Help Center Food Bank (50%) and the regeneration of TVC22, your local non-profit community media outlet (50%).

TVC22 E-Waste Recycling 2024 With Trevor Stewart
In collaboration with the Electronic Products Recycling Association, TVC22 has organized its second e-waste collection, just in time for your spring cleaning and culminating earth month. Your participation will help support TVC22’s financing campaign to modernize the station and resume its informative and educational programming.
Bring all your small and medium electrical/electronic items (TV, microwave, computer, telephone, lamp, etc.) or battery operated items.
Do not bring large appliances (stove, refrigerator, washer, dryer, air conditioner).
