On April 1, 2026, in Hawkesbury, on l’île du Chenail, the Centre culturel Le Chenail opened the doors to its 51st artistic season. Fifty-one years of culture, passion and gathering in the unique setting of the Maison de l’île.
To launch this new season, friends, partners, artists and elected officials gathered at the Maison de l’île. The Centre’s executive and artistic director, Lynda Clouette-Mackay, presented the highlights of programming under the theme “Collective Imagination — Francophone culture shines”.
This season’s program includes concerts, theatre, contemporary dance, visual arts and shows for young audiences, with artists from the region, Quebec and several countries.
